Bike
Here you can find the latest cycling clothes from brands such as Craft and Swedemount. When choosing cycling clothes, there are two main things to have in mind. The first thing is to buy clothes that is tight and do not chafe. When you cycle, you sit in the same position all the time and then you need garments that do not bulge. The second thing you need to keep in mind is to get clothes that protect against wind and at the same time can transport away excess heat and moisture.
CLOTHES FOR CYCLING
The design of the clothes has always been in focus in cycling. Colorful team jerseys and special leader jerseys are one of the signatures in cycling. In contrast to the colorful sweaters, the classic cyclist wears a pair of neutral black cycling pants, white low socks and black cycling shoes. Nowadays, of course, color has found its way everywhere, neon colors also make you more visible on the road!
Cycling pants
The cycling pants are the contact surface between your body and the cycling saddle. The inside of the thighs are protected from chafing by the long legs. A real cycling pants has a padding in the crotch to provide extra cushioning but also to absorb sweat. Cycling pants with braces, also called bibs, are very comfortable. The braces and the integrated back part ensure that the bib does not slide down during the ride. If you cycle in the winter, you will need windproof cycling pants as the wind gets even colder in speed.
Cycling jerseys
We have cycling jerseys with both short and long sleeves. Both models have a shorter front than back. When you try on a cycling jersey, you need to think about how you sit on the bike because they are made to fit well when you are leaning forward. This means that a cycling jersey does not fit particularly well when you stand straight up. A cycling jersey should have a tight fit and there is often a short zipper in the front to be able to adjust the ventilation. On the back there is often one or up to 3 pockets. Perfect for a rain jacket, some energy bars or other necessities.
Cycling jackets
A cycling jacket is a windproof jacket with a cut adapted to sit well when you lean forward on the bike. This means that the front of the jacket is shorter than the back so it does not bulge when you lean forward. The back of the jacket is a bit longer to protect down over the back end. The sleeves can also be slightly longer than on regular jackets as the sitting position on the bike is with stretched arms.
