The North Face, named after the steepest and most challenging side of a mountain, was founded 1966 in California of two outdoor enthusiasts called Douglas Tompkins and Kenneth Hap Klopp. In over 50 years, The North Face has developed and produced technical clothes, shoes and gear for adventurers all over the world.
